Transitioning from self
PREVIEW chapter from upcoming book on artificial intelligence.
Transitioning
from
self
The act of transference is to transfer self into objects, animals and others. This process of transference is a surrender of the self in order to receive back what is foreign in its place. Men who empty themselves out will receive back something new in its place.
Men who hero worship project themselves onto their hero and that hero ends up taking up room in their own sense of self. The object of adoration receives power from the worshippers and the worshippers receive back a piece of the object of adoration back into their hearts. The hero grows in size from the transference of power from the worshippers. And the worshippers receive a simulacrum of their hero within that shapes their identity. This is what happens when a sportsball watcher cheers for their team and feels like they are winning along with their team. They will say “we won” in excitement because they have become mediums to the object of their adoration. They will live through their heroes and their heroes will live through them. The sports players on the field will feel the energy from the cheering fans and the fans will feel the energy from the players. Men who obsess over sports will experience high emotions when they watch sports because their sense of empathy as transferred into the objects of their adoration. The heroes on the field become mediums to the hope and dreams of the fans who watch passively at home or in the stands.
When a man hero worships another man, the hero will become a medium that holds the hopes, dreams and aspirations of the worshippers. The worshippers empty themselves of their own sense of selves and receive back a simulacrum or idol in their own identity. The worshipper’s identity becomes confused as the lines between their separated identities blur together. A sportsball fan will lose sense of time as they watch sports and will “forget themselves” when watching sports. And if any of these fans ends up meeting their sports idol, they will completely “forget themselves” in the presence of their idol and will exist as a completely empty medium when confronted with how their separated self should interact with their totem of possession. These sports fans will stumble in speech and will be “blackout” around their heroes because they are confronted with the confusion of where their selves begin and where their hero begins.
Remember, a sports fan holds a simulacrum of their sports hero within them and their sense of self has blended within their minds with their hero’s sense of self. These hero worshippers forget that the hero does not truly live in their minds and cannot read their thoughts. They will stumble and tumble in speech around their heroes or will be overwhelmed by silence because they have become incapable of bringing a separated self to communicate with the hero before them. They are confronted with their own emptiness and don’t know how to integrate the simulacrum of their hero with the flesh and blood original before them.
When a man who gives transference of himself to an object of his fascination, he becomes less real than the object and his perception of reality is filtered through the simulacrum he carries within.
Men who worship movie stars, sports players, musicians, politicians and social media influencers remove a part of their own sense of identity for simulacrums of these heroes. These men become like phantoms and ghosts ruled by the hologram of their objects of worship. Their degraded sense of self becomes like vapor that is only contained by their connection to the totems of their possession. Their heroes are more real to them than they are to themselves. This is why a sports fan can go through the most severe depression when their team loses because their identification with their heroes is so integrated with their own identity cannot be understood outside of their heroes.
Vegans also practice an extreme transference of themselves with animals. Remember, vegans transfer their own sense of selves into animals. This two-way street makes animals human in value and themselves animal in value. The animals become human, and the vegan becomes animal. The lines that separate the meaning of the self from others becomes blurred. What the vegan does not realize is that they are giving value away from themselves to animals. The vegan deflates their own value by inflating the value in animals. They transfer the simulacrum of “human” into the animals and receive back a simulacrum of animal back into themselves. This is why vegans will have less empathy for humans and will have more empathy for animals. They will hold tremendous emotional anxiety with “animal cruelty” but will be brutalists in cruelty to humans. This is because see themselves in animals and see animals within themselves. An emotional transference that empties their own sense of self and replaces it with a holographic self based upon animal spirits.
During the same time period where there is an acceleration of artificial intelligence, we also see a rise of veganism, transsexuality and furry role play. These are all transferences of the self in order to reshape the self around the simulacrum based on the connected object of fascination. Remember, the men who identified, related and associated themselves with a few clusters of pixels in a video game became the same ones who ended up trooning out. These men obsessively played games where their sense of self became impressed in MMORPGS. They surrender their sense of self and transferred their consciousness in digital avatars. And just as they could change skins in their video games, they carried that same desire into the real world. It is not a coincidence that they obsessive video game players who watch anime and who became vegans are the same ones who experimented with gender fluidity and transsexuality. These are all extreme forms of transference that degraded their sense of selves and replaced their inner selves with simulacrums.
It has become cliché in our times for a game player who uses the same digital avatar through the years, who watches anime and who experiments with veganism to experience such an empty medium of their sense of self that gender becomes just as bendable as their digital and cartoon simulacrums within their own mind. They have already transferred their consciousness into animals with veganism, already transferred their consciousness into digital avatars and cartoon heroes that their consciousness becomes an illusion from the blurred lines that connect it to all the objects of their possession. It is no wonder that the creators of the movie, The Matrix ended up experimenting with transsexuality. It is the transference of men into the digital world that separates them from themselves that causes them to view themselves as interchangeable avatars in the real world.
The transference of men into the digital world has come from the culture of transference from voyeuristic culture. Our ancestors who were the first to watch movie in theaters, listen to radios at home and who played digital games at arcades started the early digital transference of their identities into the abstract world of symbols of the digital playground. Their grandchildren who were raised with Saturday cartoons, or cartoon networks, who played digital avatars from infancy became groomed into viewing themselves as separated from their own sense of self. This increased separation of the inner self to the outer selves in the digital realm influenced the increase in other “empty medium” influences such as veganism, gender roleplay, increase sports obsession, plastic surgeries and transsexuality. Our generations who were born into the digital revolution were trained to view ourselves as separated into multiple forms that blend our conscious mind from the world of flesh into the digital. The cartoons became human and we became cartoons.
The line between the digital avatars of our “second lives” allowed us to view our flesh bodies as malleable and bendable avatars. What we call “transhumanism” is a process of transference of our fleshly identities into our digital avatars. A young boy is no longer just a flesh vehicle but also a digital entity in a digital playground. Our machine world became human at the same time that humans became machine. The young boy who played “Mario” made that character just as real as his flesh and blood avatar while he became digitized within himself.
When a medical patient needs to be injected with a hypodermal needle, the blood is drawn into the vial to mix with the medicine before being injected back into the body. This similar to the digital world that is causing transhumanism. We mix the flesh and digital together before injecting ourselves with the new admixture. All the examples of transference that influence a transhuman culture become like a death of a thousand cuts. From sports worship, veganism, cartoon obsession, portable music listening, movie watching and video game playing all are aspects of transference of the inner sense of self into abstract symbolism. The generations who were raised from infancy under the influence of transference have a digital second skin and became adept swimmers in the new digital fishbowl.
